GEOINT — Geospatial Intelligence
GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) combines satellite and aerial imagery with location-based data to produce spatial analysis. This module covers the fundamentals of remote sensing, satellite image interpretation, change detection, layer analysis with CBS (Geographic Information Systems) and open-source geolocation (chronolocation, shadow/sun analysis). We proceed with real examples from Kentmetre’s urban and disaster analyses.
